8 VFW Post 7945 members distributed Buddy Poppies at the Cabelas Thornton store on 144th Ave and King Soopers in Westminster on 104th Ave and Federal Blvd for four hours in teams of two VFW members in rotating two hour shifts. We also provided eligible military veterans information about VFW membership and gave away Vietnam Veteran ball caps to veterans who served during the Vietnam Era and spoke to youth and young adults about military service.
